My name is Justin Velasquez, I am a freshman at Endicott College. I have been snowboarding since high school and skateboarding since junior high. I come from Maine so the majority of my friends ski or snowboard. I find riding down a mountain at high speeds one of the most rewarding feelings ever. This blog basically is giving me an excuse to go snowboarding a lot, I approve.
I want to figure out if the snow sport culture is different
from state to state. I have a feeling that there will be differences in the
cultures state by state. The factors that I think are most likely to change are
the clothing choices, riding preferences, and lingo. I will figure the differences by interviewing my friends that ride in different states. Also I will ride at my home mountains as much as possible to get an idea of the culture there.
